VRML brings 3D to the web. i believe that the future of the web is here, in VRML. you've got to see it to believe it.

VRML 1.0 worlds require a 1.0 browser (such as Live3D which comes bundled with Netscape 3.0 or higher,) or a 2.0 browser with backward compatibility.

my 1.0 worlds make extensive use of text and as such work best in browsers that support it. the worlds will load in CosmoPlayer, but the text will not be rendered.

VRML 2.0 worlds require a 2.0 browser plug-in (Live3D is not 2.0) such as SGI's CosmoPlayer as far as i know, 2.0 worlds will not display in 1.0 browsers.

2.0 Tutorials
my evolving tutorials by example, with comments. unfortunately, 2.0 is fairly complex, these tutorials should take the sting out

Worms
a 2.0 world with two worms that crawl around randomly. they're constrained within a 5x5x5 box and will bounce off the walls. they also decide to change direction occasionly for no good reason. if you're quiet and close enough, you can hear them bounce. click on the green button to start and stop them.

Moving Spheres
a 2.0 world I built for work click on the spheres to make them trade places.

VFSI--VRML 1.0 File System Interface
customizable 3D view of a file system. generated on- the-fly by a cgi script that is really looking at directories

Japanese ==> VRML
a regular mapping of the basic sounds of the Japanese language into VRML 1.0 worlds
